Pengu

Tobby is a character design, modelling, rigging, animation and rendering project. The purpose of the project was to create a fun, mechanical character and, since I am a huge fan of penguins, I immediately came up with the idea of Pengu. Penguins are amongst the most charismatic creatures of the animal kingdom, they have a great attitude, they look sharp and they are adorably clumsy on land. I hope these qualities translated to my mechanical counterpart. The final model is fully rigged and textured. Photoshop was used to produce the various textures while autodesk XSI was used for modelling, rigging and animation. The project was rendered in mental ray using car shader.
